I started painting around eight years ago choosing watercolour. It is a medium which I love to work in due to the wonderful effects, unpredictability and looseness. I don’t have any special things I like to paint – it is whatever inspires me at the time.
I learned the art of watercolour from some of WA’s leading watercolour artists who are members of the Watercolour Society of WA. They keep me inspired with their wonderful work and I continue to strive to develop in my own style.
I moved to Albany in 2014 and have since immersed myself in the wonderful scenery and life of the region which gives me so much inspiration and it is wonderful if somebody else can enjoy that through my paintings.
My art is sold through exhibitions of the Albany Art Group, Little Grove Art Group and Southern Art and Craft Trail, or by commission.
