A crowd of nearly 100 artists, sponsors and special guests gathered at the Hilton Garden inn Albany for the official opening of the 2024 Southern Art & Craft Trail. ArtSouthWA Chairperson, Simone Klose, introduced Elder Lester Coyne who conducted an enlightening Welcome to Country. Albany City Mayor, Greg Stocks, outlined the City’s investment opportunities, with support form Lotterywest, for the Bicentenary in 2026. Sarah Bowles, Chairperson for the Albany Community Bank officially launched the event followed by mingling and networking until 7.30pm for some of us.
