I moved to Denmark from Sydney in 2007 and it is now very much home. I have a background in Interior & Graphic Design.

I studied at the School of Colour and design in Sydney for 2 years colour, where I fell in love with colour, texture and pattern.

The environment both natural and built provides the inspiration for my pen and ink drawings. I look for the textures, colours and patterns formed in both nature and the built. I often take photos and these images or just ideas and thoughts, are used to form the basis for my art work.

I then begin the process of deconstruction & abstraction to create the final the piece of artwork.

My worked is varied in style and colour. Some pieces have no colour, simply black and white with detailed patterns, the depth is achieved with layers and the scale of the pattern.

Pieces with colour, the ink is often blended in layers of differing tones while wet to create depth. I also use in pen to enhance the depth.
The opportunity share my work with others, is very important to me. To share my connection with my surrounds, to connect with the community and to give back to this wonderful place in which we call home.
