Cynthia’s work shows the joy and passion she has for life and the beautiful city and country where she lives. Her loving and spiritual nature is truly reflected in the paintings she creates. Her use of bold colour and form make for very emotive pieces, transforming the viewer into a world of their own.
Orr’s style is diverse, but well recognised at the same time. She is always experimenting and evolving stylistically.
Cynthia shows her art in galleries and group shows throughout the nation. Her most recent achievements have seen her win the 2023 Great Southern Art Award WA ‘People’s Choice’, 2023 York Botanical Art Prize Finalist, 2022 Glover Prize ‘Hanger’s Choice’ award, 2022 Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize Finalist and selected for the public art commission at Albany Health Campus Radiation and Oncology Centre WA.
