About Us
ArtSouthWA Inc. is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation, run by a committee of volunteers and contracted personnel. We promote a diverse range of arts and crafts for our members within the southern region of Western Australia. Members include regional based art galleries, practitioners and arts organisations.
ArtSouthWA Inc. operates all year round, with the biggest undertaking being the organisation and running of the annual Southern Art and Craft Trail.
Throughout the year we promote our members through the listing in our directory on this website and utilise Facebook and Instagram. We also run professional skill development activities and workshops. Constant networking with other similar organisations means we are able to inform our Members of events and opportunities of interest.
ArtSouthWA is committed to ensuring that people with disabilities, their families and carers are able to access to our events, interactive workshops employment and information by providing them with the same opportunities, rights and responsibilities enjoyed by all other people in the community.
ArtSouthWA acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first Australians. We acknowledge the impact of settlement to First Nations culture and recognise the social, economic and educational challenges that continue to be faced today.
