About Us

ArtSouthWA Inc. is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation, run by a small committee of dedicated volunteers and contracted personnel. We promote a diverse range of arts and crafts for our members within the southern region of Western Australia. Members include regional based art galleries, arts practitioners, and arts organisations.

ArtSouthWA Inc. operates all year round, supporting members in many ways. The biggest undertaking has been the organisation and running of the annual Southern Art and Craft Trail every Spring. From 2025, we are also introducing the Easter Arts Festival. Like the Southern Art and Craft Trail, this will be of enormous benefit to both the Arts and the wider community, at this busy season.

Throughout the year we promote our members through the listing in our directory on this website, and through frequent posts on Facebook and Instagram. We also run professional skill development activities and workshops. Constant networking with other similar organisations means we are able to keep our Members up to date with events and opportunities of interest.

ArtSouthWA is committed to ensuring that people with disabilities, with their families and carers, are able to access to our events, interactive workshops, employment, and information. We ensure that we provide every member of the community with the same opportunities, rights, and responsibilities, regardless of ability, race, or religion.

ArtSouthWA acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Australians. We acknowledge the impact of settlement to First Nations culture, and recognise the social, economic and educational challenges that continue to be faced today.
