HOW TO PAINT A WALLDOG STYLE MURAL

A technical hands-on workshop with David Johnson APM

Dates:  Saturday 1st October and Sunday 2nd October 2022

Venue: Mt Barker Community Resource Centre, 1 Lowood Rd, Mount Barker

This mural workshop will provide you with the knowledge and skills as used by the biggest collective of sign painters and mural artists in the world, the Walldogs. With the technical session held at the Mount Barker CRC and the practical session at the Old Police Station & Folk Museum, you will become part of the famous Mount Barker Walldog Mural trail by painting a mural in a high exposure site as well as learning how to create your own mural.

Further Information

Meals – meals and snacks are not included in the workshop fee. Several meal locations are available in Mount Barker including A little Bit of Barker on Lowood Road, Soup Salad Scoop on Marion Street and the United Roadhouse across the road from the mural site. Of course you can bring your own.

Equipment

Please bring your own artist brushes, note book, hat, gloves if you prefer, and clothes that will get a bit dirty.

Brushes, paints and all other equipment supplied for the course.
