“Adventures in Wood” is a group of woodworkers and others of a like-minded persuasion who come together once a year to exhibit in the Southern Art & Craft Trail at the Albany Boat Shed. The shed was formerly the Dyfkin boat shed in Fremantle where the replica of the ship “Dyfkin” was built, later being relocated to the Albany foreshore. The group’s members include a retired veterinary surgeon, a Vietnam veteran and boat people from Britain and Holland. The rest are descended from convicts and wardens!
Items made include everything from wooden pend to wooden tables and chairs all from local native timber.
I work wood full time and my products can be purchased or ordered from the Boat Shed Markets on any Sunday ( 9am to 1pm ) I also sell my wares at the Boat Shed during the Art Trail.
