The Lower Kalgan Hall Artists are a group of creative people who are interested in showcasing their artwork. We have a variety of different styles and mediums.
“The heritage listed Lower Kalgan Hall is situated at 516 Nanarup Road, Kalgan and is a managed and maintained by volunteers from the Lower Kalgan Community Association.
The hall is for hire for events such as meetings, seminars, weddings, birthday celebrations, exhibitions and markets.
The Hall is licensed for 200, has a large stage, a fully equipped kitchen, tables, chairs, crockery and cutlery are available.
The hall has almost full perimeter picture rails, 3 purpose built room divider/display boards, and hook and wire picture hanging equipment which makes the space particularly suitable for both large and more intimate visual art exhibitions or art/craft markets.
There is ample parking adjacent to the Hall which is set back from the road, with a landscaped fire-resistant garden, all in the rolling hills of the pristine Kalgan district.
Each year a group of local artists come together to showcase their works in mixed genre as part in the Southern Art & Craft Trail.”
