Make A Scene is a small collective of emerging creative professionals from the Great Southern Region of WA with diverse artistic practices but a mutual vision, wanting to make our own hub in a shared retail gallery space.

We are can-do people who make interesting things and want to present them in a professional and beautiful way.

We are passionate about rejuvenating empty retail spaces and turning them into vibrant, creative retail and gallery spaces for creative and community development. Established in 2014, we have held eighteen successful temporary popup gallery retail spaces in Albany, providing a place for our collective artists to promote and sell their work to locals and visitors

Our main objectives are:
o Invigorate empty spaces for creative and community development.
o Create vibrant, inviting retail spaces with studios and workshops for our local artist team and handmade producers to make, share & showcase their products.
o To inject life and energy into Albany by creating new and dynamic market spaces experience for the community.
o Create a low risk opportunity for artists to share the costs and responsibilities to test the market with their creative endeavors.
