My creative practice has evolved organically, shaped by curiosity and the environments I’ve moved through over time. A lifelong fascination with colour, texture, and found objects began in childhood, influenced by the cultural traditions and making practices of my Estonian and Dutch grandmothers.

With a background in education, and also as a software developer and illustrator of educational resources, creativity has remained a constant thread—expressed across disciplines, but always grounded in storytelling.

The natural world, particularly the ocean, is a strong and recurring influence in my current work. Through material exploration and layered processes, I aim to evoke a sense of connection—inviting reflection, care, and respect for the environments we are part of. Underpinning my practice is a deep commitment to the conservation and protection of natural environments, with each piece offering a quiet invitation to notice, value, and preserve.

I am currently working primarily with textiles, including felting, upcycling and repurposing clothing and fabrics, botanical dyeing & eco printing. My practice remains fluid and responsive, with an openness to diverse medium and techniques, guided by the narrative I am exploring at any given time.
