Ros Jenke and Julie Fletcher share a love of outdoor painting and regularly meet up to sketch and paint, finding endless inspiration painting in and around Albany’s stunning landscapes and delight in discovering the natural beauty of the area, including seascapes, rural scenes and familiar places of historical interest.
Various mediums are used but are predominantly watercolour and acrylics .
These ‘en plein air” works can end up as complete paintings or transformed into larger artworks often completed in their home studios.
Julie and Ros have exhibited many times successfully in Southern Art and Craft Trail with the Albany Plein Air group and this year will exhibit jointly at the Museum of the Great Southern.
