Scout Seas studio explores unique coastlines through bathymetric contour art – a sentimental gift for any ocean-lover. Revealing the contours of the sub-sea floor through art to connect us back with our special place. Handmade with a passion for the sea (and sandy feet).
All bathymetric maps are 100% handmade and are visually unique to each stretch of coast. Pieces range from the islands of Esperance to the Abrolhos and all of our most memorable places in-between.
These pieces combine the technical elements of Bathymetric Surveys, 3D modelling, CNC machining and contour-assembly with sentiment to connect us back with, and remind us of our place and the memories they hold. Pieces range from 30cm X 30cm to 102cm X 102cm.
