I am a self-taught, multi-media artist producing intricately detailed paintings that celebrate our connection to the Earth we live on and, the life within us. Each painting I create tells a different story about emotional and spiritual exploration. The stories I express in my paintings are my stories, but the feelings and thoughts they provoke have resonance with many other people.
Many of my paintings are embellished with gemstones and crystals, giving “life” to each piece as they catch the light. I add these as a symbol of the beauty-of-life we all hold within us.
Each painting can take many hundreds of hours to complete and is then framed with its own unique, decorated frame resulting in only a couple of new paintings being produced in a year.
My work is displayed in my gallery “Sisters of Eve”, situated on the beautiful Mt Shadforth Rd Denmark. All originals are for sale or can be purchased as a Fine Art print, or as an embellished and framed print. These prints are decorated with gemstones and crystals, original artwork on the mount and framed with museum/conservation boards and glass.
With an art career now spanning over 45 years my heart is full of gratitude for my creative life. In my soul I feel innate joy in the profusion of life, in the many ways that the Earth has of inspiring our subconscious emotions and imaginations. For me the world abounds with the symbols of the greatness, the generosity of life and the unlimited potential it brings to each of us.
