The annual Southern Art and Craft Trail is a visual arts community event that represents 600 regional artists in 70-80 venues. The 16-day SACT event showcases a diverse range of art exhibitions, open studios, hands-on workshops, demonstrations, artist talks, school displays and public art exhibits during the September/October school holidays.
It is the is the largest visual arts event in the southern region of WA, spanning over 36 000ha. In 2023, venue entries increased by 34% across the region on the previous year and stabalised for 2024. 2025 will be the 22nd anniversary of SACT.
